As the Sun Sets....
At the end of the day, unwind on the back patio. Our house backs on to a greenbelt, and we enjoy the anticipation of what we might see next. We regularly see deer, sometimes coyotes, (although you can be sure you will hear them outside before you will see them!), armadillos, Great Blue Heron, and lately, we’ve had at least 1 Great Egret who regularly flies by. Mr. Fox is harder to spot,–but certainly a fun surprise when you do. Did you know that the gray fox is a member of the dog, (canine), family and can climb trees?
Sitting outside in the evening, you’re sure to hear the frogs singing and a high likelihood of an owl or two hooting.

Mr. Fox

The gray fox climbs 90-degree tree trunks and sometimes makes its den 30 feet off the ground.~ Texas Parks & Wildlife

Toads
Frogs or toads? Well, actually, mostly we have toads. Maybe some bullfrogs,–

Hello? Is anyone there?
